Pedraza is a true medieval delight and make you fall madly in love with its medieval old town, which was declared a Conjunto Monumental in 1951.
VITING THE VILLAGE
To begin this journey back in time, look at the emblazoned houses fixed in typical 14th century style, and let yourself be carried away by the history that permeates these places. Continue on to the magnificent Romanesque church of San Juan: the interior is built entirely in pure Baroque style. Continue to the castle at the top, but don’t miss out on some unmissable visits along the way. As you walk down calle Real, you will see beautiful examples of medieval architecture and the famous Casa de Pilatos, a magnificent villa rich in mosaics, statues and refined architecture. The castle, which dates back to the 13th century, is perfectly preserved and offers the opportunity to visit an authentic medieval castle even in its interior rooms.
NATURAL SURROUNDINGS
After a full day of sightseeing, finish the day in nature by taking the opportunity to cool off and swim in El Chorro’s magnificent natural pools in the middle of the Sierra de Guadarrama. And if you’re feeling sporty and energetic, there are also beautiful hiking trails to immerse yourself in nature and to walk to the village. If adventure is never enough for you, you can also embark on a canoe trip for an adrenaline-filled experience!

Prepárate para un auténtico viaje en el tiempo a un lugar mágico a unos 90 minutos en coche de Madrid: ¡Pedraza te está esperando! Déjate llevar por el espíritu de la aventura y juega a ser un caballero o una reina mientras paseas por uno de los lugares más bellos de Castilla y León. Pedraza es una auténtica delicia medieval y le hará enamorarse perdidamente de su casco antiguo medieval, declarado Conjunto Monumental en 1951.
VISITAR EL PUEBLO
Para comenzar este viaje en el tiempo, observe las casas blasonadas fijadas en el estilo típico del siglo XIV, y déjese llevar por la historia que impregna estos lugares.
