What to do in Madrid?

#1 Exploring Malasaña Barrio
This Barrio of Madrid is really popular, especially by locals, so it’s perfect for your discovering hidden-gems itinerary. Malasaña is the perfect combination of outstanding street art, architecture and good restaurants.
The barrio is a real trendy area in the city. Moreover, it’s very lively at night. In this part of the city, we assure you that you will find the best tapas. Follow your nose and pick out a spot, is our suggestion!
#2 Librería U.N.E.D. de Escuelas Pías
This library that was once a church is definitely one of the best kept secrets of Madrid. It’s easily accessible because of its central location. Keep an eye out for it when you’re wandering around the city, because you might just pass by it without even knowing.
The converted church is open for visitors from 9.15 am till 10 am and from 9 pm until 9.45 pm. If you like to take artistic pictures, this is certainly a good place for it.
#3 Parque El Capricho
El Capricho is best known as the home of trees of all kinds. The park is located close to the airport. Not so many people know about the park, therefore it’s the perfect hidden-gem for a relaxing stroll without being surrounded by tons of people.
The best time to visit the park is in February and March, when the wonderful almond trees blossom.

Esta biblioteca que antes era una iglesia es definitivamente uno de los secretos mejor guardados de Madrid. Es fácilmente accesible por su céntrica ubicación. No la pierdas de vista cuando pasees por la ciudad, porque puede que pases por delante de ella sin darte cuenta.
La iglesia reconvertida está abierta a los visitantes de 9.15 a 10 horas y de 21 a 21.45 horas. Si le gusta hacer fotos artísticas, éste es sin duda un buen lugar para ello.
#3 Parque El Capricho
El Capricho es conocido por ser el hogar de árboles de todo tipo. El parque está situado cerca del aeropuerto. No hay mucha gente que conozca el parque, por lo que es la joya escondida perfecta para dar un paseo relajado sin estar rodeado de toneladas de gente.
La mejor época para visitar el parque es en febrero y marzo, cuando florecen los maravillosos almendros.
Manténgase seguro, pero disfrute al máximo de la ciudad.
